The Lake House is a beautiful country house hotel set in a prominent position opposite the waterhead pier and jetties and overlooks Lake Windermere. The hotel offers spectacular views across Waterhead Bay, Lake Windermere and the lakland fells of Loughrigg Fell and the Langdale Pikes.
The Lake House boasts twelve bedrooms with a choice of the Lake View Four Poster bedroom, superior family rooms or the classic rooms, all are decorated and finished to a high standard and all including an en-suite bathroom.
The bedrooms feature CD players, tea and coffee making facilities as well as TV’s with DVD players. The hotel has a DVD libray to choose from. There is also a Platstation 2 which can be borrowed to keep any children however big or small entertained.
Included in the price is a full english breakfast which uses only the best local produce and is served in the breakfast room which over looks Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes beyond.

We have stayed at the Lake House a few times now. It is comfortable, spacious and child friendly. The breakfasts are excellent and the staff friendly. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
