Apple Pie is a well known, award winning, family run cafe and bakery. Situated on Rydal Road, Apple Pie serves a mouth watering choice of pies and pasties, soups, toasties, sandwiches and rolls, cream cakes, tray bakes and Apple Pie’s famous bath buns. Breakfast is also served until about 11ish.
As well as having the option of take away food customers can also choose eat in as the cafe has several stylish seating areas set over two floors, some offering views over Ambleside’s famous Bridge House and the Fairfield Horse beyond. In warmer weather customers can also choose to eat out in the outside courtyard.
